The 28th Annual Open Day at Loriendale - 2018

Discover and enjoy - this afternoon has become an annual event for many Canberrans and an increasing number of people from interstate.

Take a drive into the country and discover the delights of freshly picked orchard fruit and enjoy an afternoon in a relaxed setting.

  •   Select from the varieties of international and Australian apples and pears

  •   Buy organic produce from local producer stalls: farm vegetables, dried fruit, toffee apples and honey.

  •   Watch the pressing of fresh apple juice on the wooden apple press - C19th styled machine.

  •   Enjoy a range of organic foods - crepes served with Loriendale apple sauce and Devonshire teas served with delicious scones, muffins or cakes.

  •   Stroll through the orchard, complete with free range bantam hens foraging among the trees.

Relaxing background music provided by local musicians and choirs.
